Downsizing & Moving
Sorting, organizing, and packing at a gentle pace. We coordinate donations, sales, and disposal, then oversee the move and help make the new space feel like home.
Hamilton County · Chattanooga
Golden Light offers non-medical downsizing, companionship, and daily-life support for older adults — at your pace, on your terms, with respect for what matters most.

What we do
All services are entirely non-medical. Our role is practical assistance and companionship — not personal or clinical care.
Sorting, organizing, and packing at a gentle pace. We coordinate donations, sales, and disposal, then oversee the move and help make the new space feel like home.
Tidying, laundry, bed-making, and dishes. Closet and pantry organizing, seasonal decorating, light bulbs, smoke detectors, and simple safety checks.
Conversation, shared meals, walks, and games. Rides to appointments and outings. Patient help with phones, video calls, and simple technology.
Grocery shopping, prescription pick-ups, and errands. Meal planning and light meal prep. Mail and bill organization, plus updates to family who live at a distance.

For adult children
When you can't be there every week, we can. Regular check-ins, honest updates, and a trusted local presence — so your parent stays supported and you stay informed.
How it works
A warm, no-pressure chat about what you or your loved one needs.
A simple written plan and schedule that fits your pace and budget.
The same trusted person shows up ready to help — at home, on time.
We check in with you and family regularly, and adjust as life changes.
Where we serve
We visit clients across Chattanooga and the surrounding communities. Tap a neighborhood to see it on the map — if you're near it, we're probably already down the road.
Just outside these areas? Reach out anyway — we consider each request individually.
From the families we serve
"Mom said it felt like having a thoughtful neighbor stop by. They unpacked her kitchen the way she would have, and put the photos back on the wall exactly where she wanted."— Rebecca T. · Signal Mountain
